The time is nearing for the 54th anniversary of Marilyn’s passing. IM will begin taking donations for her Memorial Flowers now. If you are want to be a part of our special tradition here at IM to show your love for Marilyn together with your fellow fans/friends, this is it. Please read this carefully for details.
August 1972 article in MS magazine: “I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt. It was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo (who had refused to book Fitzgerald because she was black), and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him – and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status – that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard… After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman – a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.” – Ella Fitzgerald
This is a common story that has been floating around for quite some time. A talented performer denied because of her skin color. Tragic? Yes. Did it happen? Absolutely. At The Mocambo? No. Huh?
Immortal Marilyn are happy to announce that we have some new blood on our team!
Immortal Marilyn is pleased to announce that we are now a sister site of Marilyn Remembered.
Along with Immortal Marilyn, the Marilyn Remembered Fan Club ensures that they promote Marilyn in the most honest light possible – keeping the lies at bay and searching for honesty, integrity and most of all facts regarding our dear Marilyn.
You’d be hard pressed to think of another celebrity endorser that’s been advertising products as long as Marilyn Monroe. From her first advertisements in the mid-1940s to almost 55 years after her death, companies know that using Marilyn’s image is a sure sell. From beauty products to her recent Snickers commercial, Marilyn is still loved by Madison Avenue.
Hello all of Marilyn’s fans,
Please read this carefully, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
It is that time of year again with the holidays upon us. As always, Immortal Marilyn will be holding our annual Christmas fund raiser. A holiday arrangement will be placed at Marilyn’s crypt from her IM fans, along with a card including the names of all who contribute.
Jackie Craig, Immortal Marilyn’s LA Representative will be at Marilyn’s crypt to take photos for us when they arrive, thank you Jackie!
Everyone who donates will be included in a drawing for a Marilyn gift!
We will spend approximately $200.00 on flowers and card, and anything above and beyond that raised will be donated to Animal Haven of NYC in Marilyn’s name.
No donation is too small, and every donation is greatly appreciated, and recognized.
Immortal Marilyn’s NEW PayPal ID is email@example.com if you want to donate that route. If you wish to donate via snail mail, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for the address.
Along with your donation you can include a short sentiment to be included with your name on the Christmas card if you wish.
The deadline is December 17th to have a sentiment included with your donation, otherwise we will continue to accept donations for Marilyn’s flowers and Animal Haven until December 24th. On that day we will send our donation to Animal Haven.

Throw wide the doors and welcome Christmas’s dawn!
We see photos everywhere of Marilyn Monroe… Which aren’t exactly Marilyn Monroe.
It’s such a common thing nowadays for people to manipulate images of stars but we at Immortal Marilyn think it’s wrong, disrespectful and plain silly. Why take the face of one of the biggest Hollywood icons in the world and a morph it onto someone else’s body (and sometimes even her own!)?
