My name is Shaney and I live in the UK with my husband & children. I first found Marilyn nearly 40 years ago now, yes I feel old stating that haha!

But I can still remember the first time I ever saw her. Being sat on the sofa with my mum, while watching an old black and white movie, when a beautiful lady came running onto the train platform and it made me laugh because the steam made her jump when I asked, mum told me it was Marilyn Monroe and from that day to this she still makes my heart skip a beat.

I go to Hollywood for Marilyn’s memorial every 5 years to meet up with my Marilyn family that are spread all over the world. I have seen and been to some beautiful places thanks to Marilyn but I’m more thankful for the people she has brought into my life, some I can’t imagine my life without now.
